About this design
Moon and Stars is a natural choice for a baby blanket. The navy crescent is the focal point, and the gold stars beside it give the pattern depth without crowding it.
At 45×45 squares it works as a pram blanket or a cushion, and it scales up in Bobble to a cot or single-bed blanket without losing the composition. Worked in soft DK (cotton or anti-pill acrylic) it makes a good gift project, and Bobble Pro keeps up to 50 projects if you are making versions for several children.
For a night-sky version, swap the white ground for navy and the moon for silver-grey, or try pale pink or blue for the stars.
Good for
- Baby blanket
- Nursery wall hanging
- Bedtime cushion
