About this design
The black cat silhouette is one of those motifs that's instantly readable from any angle. Ears, head, tucked body, curled tail, your brain fills in the rest. Two colours mean the make-it side is simple; the difficulty is in keeping the silhouette crisp at the curve transitions.
The cat fills much of its 45×45 grid with black, so expect long runs of one colour and allow a few weekends. Worked in soft acrylic it makes a Halloween throw; in cotton DK it suits a pram blanket. Add a small pop of colour for the eyes if you want some personality.
